A new, dog-friendly wellbeing eatery called the Pawsitive Cafe is heading to London soon and will feature a doggy ball pit, puppy yoga and positive affirmations.

Pawsitive Cafe will take up space in the Notting Hill area of London. It hopes to draw dog lovers to its new site. However, the cafe isn’t just geared up for pampered pooches. It’s also set to be the perfect place to work and chill out, as laptops are encouraged!

The idea for the cafe came to owner Alicia when she was studying at university

According to a press release, she was struggling with her mental health while studying for a business degree

However, upon finding online mental health resources lacking, she decided to start researching different therapies that could help with mental health while also boosting her wellbeing.

The snowball effect began and now Pawsitive Cafe has finally come to fruition.

What does the owner say?

“Dogs are well known to be great for our mental health, but looking after mental health goes both ways and that’s why I created the cafe because it’s also down to the pet owner to look after the dog and treat the dog,” says Alicia.

“My dog is not just my dog. My dog is my happiness, my inspiration, my sanity and my world,” she continued.

What can you do at the London venue?

The Pawsitive Cafe is all about relaxation. The interiors have been designed with Feng Shui in mind, while activities such as painting by numbers and dried flower pressing are also available to participate in.

For our canine friends, there’s a dedicated doggy menu featuring dog-friendly ice cream, ‘Pupcakes’ made with yoghurt and potato cream frosting and organic scrambled eggs. Playtime-wise, the Pawsitive Cafe boasts a doggy ball pit and play area complete with a slide.

For humans, the food menu is a brilliant blend of English brunch dishes and traditional Malaysian food. The venue is also set to hold special events, such as puppy yoga and mindfulness panels.

If you’re looking for some words of encouragement while you’re working the cafe is decked out with positive affirmations. Mirrors are labelled with encouraging words, with the goal of making you feel good while enjoying yourself.

The Pawsitive Cafe is a 5-minute walk away from Royal Oak & Bayswater Station, making it an easy reach from the Centre of London. For more information, please see the website.
