To celebrate National Fries Day (July 13), Heinz is launching a competition to win your very own free bag of spoon-shaped fries. Introducing the Heinz Spoon Friez.

French fries without sauce? Absolutely not in my book. But, according to a global study commissioned by Heinz in June 2022, I’m apparently not alone. 

Did you know nine out of ten consumers actually refuse to eat their French fries without sauce? 

Despite this statistic, however, 84 per cent of these sampled sauce lovers admit they’re never able to achieve their desired fries: sauce ratio.

In a bid to stop potato fans from feeling ‘fries-strated’ and to continue National Fries Day celebrations, Heinz has created the ‘Heinz Spoon Friez’.

Designed to scoop up sauce like nobody’s business, the Heinz Spoon Friez is a golden potato taking the shape of a traditional spoon.

Not only should this sort out your condiment conundrums, but the new Heinz Spoon Friez is set to give carb-loading a whole new meaning this summertime.

Speaking about the golden wonder, Heinz Marketing Manager, Jenina Caroll-Goldin, says “Summer soirees are officially back on the menu this year. Ready to make up for lost time, many of us will be making memories with friends and family, sharing good times and great food,”

explored a solution in time for the sociable summer season,” she continues. “We’re confident that the condiment concept will have a soft spot in many hungry hearts.”
