Believe it or not, Easter is on its way. You probably haven’t really thought about it much as we’re currently going through a global pandemic, but life goes on – and so do holidays.
If you’re not really in the mood for eating chocolate egg after chocolate egg, then you’ll be happy to know that there are alternatives. For example, this company does incredible SOLID CHEESE eggs, and I think it might be the best idea anyone’s come up with – ever.
Butler’s Cheese has a range of eggs, and don’t worry about heading out to the shops or securing a supermarket delivery slot, as they can be directly delivered.
They have a Blue Cheese and Cheddar versions, and they’ll set you back £4.50 each. The only problem is that delivery costs £6.99, so maybe you’ll want to stock up on a few. At least you know that you can get them in time for Easter Sunday, as they take two days to get delivered.
The eggs are also available in Booths and Waitrose, so if you’re doing your essential food shops in either of those locations, you might want to pick one up.
In similar cheese news, a 9-year-old girl realised that she could sneak the dairy snack into school (remember school?!) a few months back by simply using her Chapstick.

Her mother, Valerie Schremp Hahn posted a hilarious tweet to her followers revealing the genius technique, and suddenly was in-undated with messages from followers saying how clever her child is.

The young girl, whose mother asked for her name to not be published, spoke to Buzzfeed News about her invention, saying: “I was just looking on YouTube because I was bored and I found this video and I decided to do it,
“I just took some of my dads cheese, sliced it up, and put it in the chapstick container.”
“I just found that, cleaned it out with some soap, and started filling it with cheese,” the fourth-grader said, and she revealed she had used Sharp Cheddar from Aldi.
“You can lick it and no one will know,” she said. “At first I didn’t tell them [her friends] and I was like licking the, quote, ‘cheese,’ and then I told them it was cheese and they just started laughing so hard,” the 9-year-old said.
