Paddy Power have revealed that the boy most likely to win Love Island 2022 should already be in the villa.
Love Island 2022 has us worshipping at the altar of reality television. From bust-ups and break-ups, can you believe we’re only three weeks into our summer of love?
Our Love Island 2022 stars are competing for a couple of top-draw prizes. Finding true love, friends for life, and that all-so-important Pretty Little Thing Deal, of course. But with new bombshells entering the villa weekly, it’s still anyone’s game… Right?
Not according to Paddy Power. In new research from the Irish bookmakers, the company found that the male winner of Love Island should already be in the villa by week two.
Previous male Love Island winners who prove Paddy Power statistics correctly are series one’s Max Morley, series four’s Jack Fincham (which also starred Zara McDermott) and series seven’s Liam Reardon. The only boy to go against the grain is series five winner, Greg O’Shea. O’Shea entered the Love Island villa on Day 44 and went onto win the show with Amber Gill in 2019. And that didn’t exactly end great, did it?
So, if Paddy Power’s statistics are correct, we already have our male Love Island 2022 winner in the villa. But who could they be?
Luca Bish
23-year-old Brighton fishmonger Luca Bish entered the villa on Day 1. As part of the original Love Island 2022 cast, the public chose Luca to couple up with Welsh paramedic, Paige Thorn. Luca however tried his luck with Tasha Ghai before finally pivoting to Gemma Owen.
Luca is currently paired with dancer, Danica Taylor. Do we think Luca will finally find Danica Taylor to be the catch of the day, or will his eye wander for new fish to fry?
Jacques O’Neill
Jacques O’Neill joined the villa on Day 7. As Gemma Owen’s ex-boyfriend and an English professional rugby league football player, he immediately put Luca Bish Who Sells Fish on edge. However, Jacques is now coupled up Welsh beauty, Paige Thorn.
Dami Hope
Sophisticated and silent, Dami Hope entered the villa on Day 1. The Irish microbiologist was the first Islander to be confirmed for Love Island’s return this year, stating that he wanted to find love but “it might not go well”.
Dami is currently coupled with Amber Beckford. Although recently, he’s had his eye on the gorgeous Indiyah.
Jay Younger
Jay Younger is an investment analyst from Edinburgh. According to the Manchester Evening News, Love Island fans are reportedly unhappy with Jay’s “red flag behaviour”.
However, despite causing ungodly drama, he’s had a smooch from Turkish actress, Ekin-Su Culculoglu who he is currently coupled up with. Could the 28-year-old Scot be our Love Island 2022 king?
Andrew Le Page
Andrew Le Page entered the villa on Day 1 and was coupled with Tasha Ghouri in the public vote. At the time of writing, the Real Estate mogul is still paired with the 23-year-old dancer.
Luca Bish and Jay Younger have both tempted Tasha. Andrew’s head hasn’t been turned yet. However, with the latter leaving her heart “pounding” is time wearing thin for our OG couple? Or will Andrew Le Page and Tash go on to score gold?
Ikenna Ekwonna
Forget about Love Island, Ikenna Ekwonna is just here for the boys. His bromances are blossoming, his outfits are killer, and this super-chilled Pharmaceuticals Sales assistant might just be our favourite Islander.
Ikenna Ekwonna was coupled up with Indiya Polack, but the two just decided to call it quits and find that spark elsewhere. Will partner-in-crime Dami swoop in and steal his girl? After that love triangle bombshell, it doesn’t look like anyone is safe.
Davide Sanclimenti
The self-confessed “Italian Snake”, Davide Sanclimenti made quite an entrance on Day 1. After stealing Gemma Owen from Liam Llewellyn, Davide went on to pursue Turkish actress Ekin-Su. Due to a “lack of passion” however, Davide quickly found himself dumped.
At the time of writing, Davide is back with Gemma after Danica Taylor stole Luca from her. Will third time be the charm for Davide?
